Market is open Fridays at 9 p.m. through 9 p.m. Mondays!

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m. in Clayton, Clarkesville, or Gainesville.

If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION after you finish the checkout process, then your order is NOT complete. Head back to the market page, and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.

Once you place an order, be on the lookout for the order reminder email on Wednesday with further pickup and payment notes. Thanks for your support!

Russellville Community Market:  5/24/24 opening

To ensure your order is placed, make sure you click the “Place My Order” button once you have completed your shopping. You will receive a confirmation email.

Did you forget to order something? Check out our extras table during order pick-up on Tuesday from 4-7 PM!

Thank you to all the lovers of local food who supported Main Street Russellville by attending Taste of the Valley, bidding on their silent auction items and shopping at our open house event last Tuesday! It was an impressive celebration of local food! Thank you to our amazing vendors, as well! They did a great job sharing their knowledge and passion with the customers and helping people taste the difference buying local makes! Even though you are busy celebrating Memorial Day this week, don’t forget to shop online at RCM and re-stock that pantry for the upcoming week! Monday may be a holiday, but order pick-up will proceed as usual Tuesday afternoon. If your favorite vendor is on vacation this week, maybe it’s a great time to try something new! There are plenty of tasty baked goods, handcrafted candies, fantastic eggs, fresh herbs, local meats, garden supplies and more!
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

RCM accepts cash, checks, credit and debit cards and SNAP/EBT transactions.

Check back frequently as our farmers regularly update what they have available. Multiple orders are encouraged. :)

Champaign, OH:  Hip, Hip For The Holiday!!

Well, here we are…ready to usher in the holiday weekend that leads us to all that is lovely!!

School is out, graduation is over, grad parties are underway, vacation planning goes into full swing, and the golden, lazy, hazy days of summer come rambling in. Officially, not until later in June. Unofficially, we are already there.

I know that your weekend will be packed with fun, or relaxation, or full of events!! But, take a little down time to get your market orders in for this seasonal amazing goodness that comes to you, each week, via…LOCAL!!

I wish you all the best vibes for the weekend!!

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Grumpy Goat:  New Guest Baker - Debbie Walker!!!

Debbie Walker of Walker Cabin Farm will be our new guest baker who will be accepting orders for Tuesday May 28th pick up. On the menu this week, english muffins!!! I can attest that these are delicious toasted up with butter, your favorite jam or used in your breakfast sandwiches. They also freeze great if you are worried of making it through a whole 6 pack – though I honestly don’t think that you will have a problem!

If you would like to partake in these amazing fresh baked english muffins ($5 for a bag of 6) then go to Walker Cabin Farm’s Facebook page and message Debbie directly. She will send you a Zelle QR code for payment (if your bank doesn’t include Zelle as part of its mobile banking setup, the app is available for both iPhone and Android). And if you don’t have Facebook feel free to just let me know and I will place the order for you! Let’s support another local homebaker while satisfying our carb needs!

On Farm News, we have added the Sidney Farmers Market to our pick up locations – as this Saturday is the first farmers market of the season!!! Come see us Saturday 8-12 and shop the square (which should be packed with other vendors).

We have, like last year, decided that we will not be listing all the veggies on the online ordering platform. It is just too hard to keep up with the changing influx of small bed veggies. So place your orders for bread, syrup, jams, flours and then pick out your veggies in person when you come in to the shop. And as always, if you think we’ll have a certain veggie that you want you are more than welcome to leave a comment or send us a message, and if we have it we will set it aside for you.

Check out the farm store this week for (maybe) some of the first basil tips, more bunch onions, beet greens, Kale, chard, the last of the muir lettuce, cilantro, sage, and mint.
