New Vendors
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have 2 new vendors on the market – Keena from Keena’s Kake Designs and Andrea from Rapid Gourmet!
Keena from Keena’s Kake Designs (KKD) was our Vendor of the Day on Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed sampling her delicious gourmet brownies and cookies made with organic sugar and cacao, all-natural, and non-GMO!
Keena’s Kake Designs was born from a love of making delicious, custom baked goods for her family and friends at an affordable price. It also evolved from her desire to provide her family with high quality natural and organic foods; come to find out, it’s not always easy to find sweets that do not contain artificial colors, preservatives and other additives. So, their products will always be all-natural, non-GMO, and made with organic ingredients! They are a snack company with integrity: if she wouldn’t feed it to her family, she won’t feed it to yours!
Rapid Gourmet offers chutneys, jambalaya mix, and unique jam, salsa and relish flavors. Gluten free and sugar free options are available upon request. Makes a great gift! They are beautifully presented and are designed to make both the receiver and giver feel special.
Market News
Mountain Fresh Creamery
We will no longer have Mountain Fresh Creamery on the market. The supplemental feed they give their cows contains GMOs. I am currently looking for a new dairy to provide us low temp pasteurized milk. I will keep you all updated. In the meantime, please consider Cedar Rock Dairy and Lil Tots Estate.
My Daily Bread
My Daily Bread apologizes for the short notice but they will be taking a break from baking this week and will be back on the market next week for the June 16th pick up. I will send out a reminder next week. Due to some health issues they will probably be on the market every other week.

We have the opportunity to get fresh frozen Sockeye salmon which is the best of all salmon as a pre-buy in June. This salmon is picked out of the nets of the Alaskan fishing boats before they are put in the holding area below deck and they take these salmon straight to the processor who filet them and flash freeze them! They are shipped to Georgia and all this happens within 2 days! You cannot get fresher than that!
If you are interested in buying salmon which is only available during their season in end of June and month of July. The word is that packages will be about 8 ounces to a pound and sell between $16 to $18 a pound. They will know more as it gets closer. I have a list of those already interested! If you are interested in participing in the pre-buy, please email me at grow@ranchoalegrefarm.com with your name and phone number so we can contact you! This opportunity is through one of our Growers!_
We are still working on workshops for June and I will let you know about those very soon!
_As Always….
_Please share with friends and family about us so that we can give more people the opportunity to buy and eat healthy! Local farmers need our support to keep providing us with all the fresh foods! If we don’t give them enough business, it’s hard for them to continue to deliver to us. Please let’s not let that happen! Tell your friends about us so we can keep the Growers supported as this is how they make their living. *_
