Step by Step Instructions
- Trim 1/2 an inch from both ends of the watermelon. Stand up watermelon on 1 cut end; cut lengthwise into quarters. Cut each quarter into 1-inch slices. Evenly sprinkle sugar and salt onto both sides of each slice.
- Prepare a gas grill and preheat it to high (450 to 500 degrees). Put the slices onto the grill grates and grill uncovered for 3 minutes on each side.
- Serve with desired toppings.
