Jalapeno-Pecan Cheese Spread

Serves: 2 cups
Vegetarian!

Ingredients
8 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup Pecans (finely chopped)
4 Green onions (finely chopped)
1/4 cup Jalapeno pepper jelly
Diced fresh peppers (optional, to taste)
Crackers (for serving)
And/or toast (for serving)
And/or chips (for serving)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Beat cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pecans, pepper chunks (if using), and green onions until they are blended together.
  2. Put the mixture onto a plate and sculpt into desired shape. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. When ready to serve, microwave the jelly until melted, then spread over the cheese mixture. Serve with crackers, toast, and/or chips.
